After many days and nights spent at tafe trying to make a hoop dress, which quite literally nearly ate me, it is finally a week before the parade and nearly everything is done. Not really sure what to do now... for the last I don't know how long I've spent from 9am-1am working on these outfits and now its over.... I may actually have to get a life.

Who says a dress can't eat you...?

Mushroom MATTERS!

A couple of weeks ago Amy, Lisa, Antonia and I were photographed and interviewed for an Adelaide Matters magazine article. I was so surprised and happy today to see that my dress made the front cover. Also all the photos in the article look great... even if Amy is creepily putting her hand on my shoulder... It was awesome that Charlotte wore my dress again after she modelled for me in our individual shoots in August too.

Photoshoot
I, along with three other girls from my class, were picked to be interviewed and photographed for an article in Adelaide Matter magazine today. I was so pleased to see that Charlotte, who modelled for me in my tafe photo shoot, was one of the models. However that did mean that I had to stand next to her in the photos... not so cool seeing how beautiful she is, you can imagine how I felt/looked in comparison. But hopefully everyone will focus on my dress and not me!! :)
These are a couple of quick photos I took of Charlotte at the end of the shoot.

An Affair to Remember
You may have noticed I haven't posted much lately and the reason for that is that I have been super busy working on not only my graduate range but also a little collection to show and the Mt. Gambier Red Cross Fundraiser, "A French Affair". I went down to Mt. Gambier for the week last week to madly organise my models hair and makeup for the night as well as actually finding an extra model. I also spent my spare time working on my orange coat, which is almost finished! The French Affair night was a great night for my family and I and our friends. I'm so glad I put in the effort to go in the parade. Now its back to Adelaide to try and finish my graduate collection in time *deep breath*. I'll post photos from the French Affair soon.

Boring, tedious tasks I set myself include...
Sewing 290 thingys onto a jacket, and then making more as there's not enough. It's nearly done though and, I must say, looking pretty good.
