Chronic Bitchface

Today whilst waiting for my slow-ass lap top to do something (anything!) in Photoshop I came across this illustration from http://blog.krisatomic.com/. It is absolutely classic and I feel a special connection as I suffer from it's sister, Chronic Worriedface. You have no idea amount of times people have said to me "What's wrong?" and I, a little surprised, reply "Nothing at all, why?" only to hear the same answer, "You look really worried". Its just the way i look when I'm thinking about something, listening to something, concentrating or when there's just nothing exciting going on. Granted it's not the most attractive face but it just happens and I have no idea I'm doing it ok!

I've decided to name each of my 6 outfits an Old Lady Name, these are the finalists. I also found it amusing that Celia was one of the many Old Lady Names and Elizabeth wasn't.
It's about that time

I was sitting contemplating my blog and decided it was about time for some fashion related inspiration.

They're, Their, There.

I can't believe what I did today. Firstly you should know that I am not a fan of when people get words mixed up such as "they're", "their" and "there" as well as "seen" instead of "saw", "done" instead of "did" and, well you get the picture. I have been known to write people off as complete retards for making these mistakes and today I DID IT. I sent a text message, which I later re-read, only to realise that I wrote "your" instead of "you're". It was way too late to correct myself and I'm left here wondering whether the person who received my text it writing me off as a complete retard. All I can say is lesson learnt... not sure which lesson though; don't be so hard on people or check text messages before sending. Definitely the latter. Oh and this relates because I was working on designs at the moment of discovery.

The end is near...

Its the final year of my fashion design studies and all that stands in my way of graduate certificate is a 6 outfit range to be designed and made in 5 months. The final product will be paraded on the 15th of October for the whole world* to judge** . At this stage feeling excited and full of high hopes... and only time will tell if I can pull it off or whether my hopes and dreams will crushed. Either way, after 6 years of higher education, it'll be the end of my student life... thank goodness!

*by "whole world" of course I mean my fellow graduating students and their friends and family

**by "judge" obviously I mean scrutinise mercilessly
